CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Rallies for BJP Candidates in Raipur, Highlights Party’s Vision for State Development

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Raipur Assembly Convention in Dalannwala, Dehradun, on Friday, where he rallied support for BJP’s mayoral candidate Saurabh Thapliyal and other party candidates. Addressing the crowd, Dhami expressed confidence that the people of Uttarakhand, with their unwavering support, would lead BJP candidates to a resounding victory in the upcoming municipal elections, setting a new record.

Dhami lauded the overwhelming backing of the elderly, women, and youth in the Dehradun region, asserting that this would result in a historic win for BJP candidates. He urged the public to vote in large numbers to secure victory for Saurabh Thapliyal and all other BJP contenders.

The CM highlighted the positive momentum surrounding the BJP in the state and expressed hope that Thapliyal would receive the blessings of the people of Raipur, assuring that all BJP candidates would emerge victorious with a substantial majority. He also emphasized the importance of forming a "Triple Engine Government" across Dehradun and the state, so that the benefits of central and state government schemes reach every home.

Describing the large gatherings supporting BJP candidates, Dhami predicted that the victory margin in the municipal elections would be significantly higher than the previous polls. In the last mayoral election, BJP won by approximately 18,000 votes, but Dhami is confident the margin will increase to over 36,000 this time.

The Chief Minister, pointing to the enthusiasm of the people despite the cold weather, expressed his firm belief that BJP would emerge victorious in the elections and lead the state towards further growth under the Triple Engine Government. He also mentioned that new employment opportunities are being created, and rapid advancements are taking place in sectors like healthcare and education.

Highlighting the achievements of the state under BJP’s leadership, Dhami spoke about Uttarakhand’s top rank in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) list issued by NITI Aayog under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He also pointed out the state’s decline in unemployment rates, which had reached a historic low in recent years.

The CM also referred to the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, fulfilling BJP’s 2022 promise. He reassured the public that the law, which was passed recently, would be enforced soon.

Additionally, Dhami mentioned the upcoming 38th National Games to be hosted in the Raipur Assembly area, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He called the event a significant step in the state’s development.

The event was attended by several BJP leaders, including MLA Umesh Sharma KAU, BJP mayoral candidate Saurabh Thapliyal, BJP city president Siddharth Agarwal, Vinod Uniyal, Vijay Giri, and many other party workers.
