Dehradun: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Mahendra Bhatt expressed confidence that the party would secure a majority in the upcoming municipal elections, including the corporation seats. During his campaign in the Garhwal region, Bhatt appealed to the people to support the party in bringing a "Triple Engine Government" to accelerate uniform development across the state.
Addressing party workers in Garhwal, Bhatt encouraged them to boost their efforts, emphasizing that the public is ready to vote for the BJP and support its agenda for progress. "Just as Prime Minister Modi is advancing the country, Chief Minister Dhami is taking the state forward. The speed of development in areas where BJP has had leadership, like the municipal corporations, has been exemplary," he said, adding that even in areas where the party did not have a decisive role, the "Double Engine Government" has already delivered significant growth.
Bhatt highlighted the importance of securing a BJP-led government in all the municipal bodies, including those where the party has not previously held a majority, to ensure the entire state moves forward at a consistent pace. "This will mark the beginning of a new era for a developed Uttarakhand," he said, referring to the "Development Decade" the state is poised to enter.
During his visit to Chamoli district, Bhatt participated in roadshows, public outreach programs, and organizational meetings, urging voters to cast their ballots for the BJP candidates. Also present were District President Ramesh Maikhuri, Tharali MLA Bhupalram Tamta, Mandal President Rakesh Rawat, Election In-charge Harak Singh Negi, District General Secretary Rakesh Joshi, Mandal President Nandu Bahuguna, and several party officials and senior workers.
With the elections approaching, Bhatt and the BJP continue to push for widespread support, aiming to consolidate power across all municipal bodies for a unified and robust development agenda in Uttarakhand.
