India’s G20 Presidency: Paving the Path for Global Unity and Development

India's G20 Presidency has left a remarkable imprint on global diplomacy, with its theme, "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (The World is One Family), resonating across international forums. Hosting over 200 meetings in various cities, the presidency has successfully addressed pressing global challenges, including climate change, digital transformation, and economic recovery.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the closing summit in New Delhi, emphasized India’s role in fostering inclusivity and innovation. "Our presidency was not just about leading discussions but about ensuring actionable outcomes for a sustainable and equitable world," he said.

Key achievements include the establishment of a Global Digital Public Infrastructure (GDPI) framework to bridge the digital divide and the formation of a Climate Resilience Fund to aid vulnerable nations. India also championed the inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member of the G20, marking a historic step toward greater representation for the Global South.

The presidency has positioned India as a bridge between developed and developing nations, showcasing its ability to mediate, innovate, and lead on critical global issues. With its inclusive vision, India’s G20 legacy is set to influence the global agenda for years to come.
