Bhopal, December 4, 2024 – As part of its “Sangathan Parv” (Organization Drive), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to hold a series of regional meetings across Madhya Pradesh from December 5 to December 7. Senior party leaders, including BJP National Vice-President and Central Observer for Organizational Elections Saroj Pandey, State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma, State In-Charge Dr. Mahendra Singh, and State Organization General Secretary Hitanand, will preside over these discussions.
The initiative commenced today at the BJP’s state headquarters in Bhopal, where a joint meeting was held for Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions. Addressing district presidents, observers, and membership teams, Saroj Pandey highlighted the importance of strengthening grassroots connections during the party's organizational elections. She was joined by other senior leaders who provided insights on strategic planning for upcoming electoral challenges.
Planned Itinerary for Regional Meetings
The BJP’s leadership will conduct divisional meetings across key locations over the next three days:
December 5:
- Indore (11:00 AM)
- Ujjain (5:00 PM)
December 6:
- Shivpuri (11:00 AM) for Gwalior-Chambal Division
- Khajuraho (4:00 PM) for Jabalpur and Sagar Divisions
December 7:
- Rewa and Shahdol Divisions
A Focus on Grassroots Leadership
Today’s meeting saw participation from several district observers and team members from Bhopal and Narmadapuram. Discussions centered on roles assigned to key district-level leaders, strategies to boost membership, and fostering unity among party cadres.
Leaders tasked with overseeing specific regions include:
- Gwalior Region: Former Organization Secretary Suresh Arya
- Sagar Division: Former MLA Narendra Birthare
- Rewa Region: Former MLA Umesh Shukla
- Indore and Surrounding Areas: MP Sudhir Gupta
In a bid to ensure diverse representation, women leaders, former mayors, and current MPs are also stepping into observer roles across other regions.
Unity Amid Preparations for Future Challenges
While the meetings are geared toward organizational elections, they also underline BJP’s focus on bolstering regional leadership in preparation for the upcoming general and state elections. Leaders emphasized the need for cohesive teamwork and direct engagement with the public.
