BJP Appoints Election In-Charges Ahead of Crucial Municipal Polls in Uttarakhand

 Dehradun, December 4: Preparing for the upcoming municipal elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finalized and announced the appointment of election in-charges for all 11 municipal corporations, as well as various municipal councils and nagar panchayats across Uttarakhand. The move aims to ensure a focused and organized approach for the elections, which hold significant importance for the party.

State BJP Media In-Charge Manveer Singh Chauhan shared that the appointments were made under the directives of State Party President Mahendra Bhatt. Experienced leaders have been entrusted with responsibilities across key urban centers.






For Dehradun, Kuldeep Kumar will oversee the electoral preparations, while Dan Singh Rawat will take charge in Rishikesh. Similarly, Jyoti Prasad Gairola will lead in Haridwar, Ram Mohan Agrawal in Roorkee, Rakesh Giri in Kotdwar, and Ramesh Gadiya in Srinagar. In other cities, Govind Pilkhwal has been assigned Pithoragarh, Pradeep Bisht will handle Almora, Deepak Mehra has been given Rudrapur, Manoj Pal will lead in Haldwani, and Tarun Bansal will be responsible for Kashipur.

In addition to the municipal corporations, the BJP has allocated leadership roles for the elections in 45 municipal councils and 46 nagar panchayats, further expanding its organizational reach.

The appointments reflect the BJP's intent to approach the elections with strategic planning and strong leadership at the local level, signaling a high-stakes battle for control in urban governance across Uttarakhand.
