 Bhopal, November 30, 2024

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav returned to Bhopal after a six-day official visit to the United Kingdom and Germany, where he highlighted significant investment proposals received from both nations. Addressing a grand reception at Raja Bhoj Airport, Dr. Yadav described the trip as a turning point for Madhya Pradesh’s economic growth, emphasizing the state's readiness to lead India’s industrial and employment sectors.

Dr. Yadav revealed that Madhya Pradesh secured investment commitments of ₹60,000 crore from the UK and ₹18,000 crore from Germany, attributing this success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s robust economic policies. “These proposals reaffirm the growing global confidence in India’s economy and showcase Madhya Pradesh as a favorable investment destination. Every moment of this trip was dedicated to ensuring the state’s progress,” he said.

The Chief Minister underscored the significance of these investments, citing an additional ₹25,000 crore proposed for semiconductor manufacturing and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with a German university for community-based research. He expressed optimism that these partnerships would not only fuel industrial growth but also create significant employment opportunities for the state’s youth.

"Where Jobs Are, Madhya Pradesh Will Be First"

Dr. Yadav reiterated his government’s commitment to making Madhya Pradesh a leader in employment generation, stating, “The state’s potential, skill, and perseverance ensure it remains at the forefront of India’s economic aspirations. We are determined to empower our youth by providing avenues to fulfill their dreams.”

He highlighted how Germany’s investment decision in Bhopal’s Acharpura region came after witnessing the state’s proactive approach to creating an industry-friendly environment. The visit, he said, strengthened Madhya Pradesh’s reputation as a preferred destination for international investors.

The Chief Minister also announced the upcoming Regional Industrial Conclave in Narmadapuram on December 7, aiming to enhance industrial growth at the divisional level.

Dr. Yadav’s return was marked by a celebratory gathering attended by Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, state ministers, MLAs, party leaders, and a host of enthusiastic supporters. Leaders hailed the overseas visit as a pivotal moment in shaping Madhya Pradesh’s journey toward becoming India’s top-performing state.

The Chief Minister concluded by appealing to citizens and officials to collectively work toward the state’s comprehensive development, ensuring no district is left behind in the mission to make Madhya Pradesh a beacon of progress.
