Ecuadorian influencer Landy Parraga Goyburo was tragically killed after her Instagram post disclosed her location to attackers. Goyburo, 23, shared a photo of her lunch, 'octopus ceviche,' just before the incident, leading two armed men to target her at a restaurant.
Surveillance footage captured the gunmen storming into the eatery, disrupting the peaceful ambiance. Amid the chaos, Goyburo and another individual found themselves defenseless as gunshots echoed through the restaurant. Despite attempting to seek refuge, Goyburo was fatally shot by one of the assailants before they fled the scene.
With 173,000 followers on Instagram, Goyburo inadvertently exposed her whereabouts to the attackers through her post. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, with speculations ranging from her alleged association with a gang boss to her involvement in a corruption inquiry involving judicial officials and organized crime.
Rumors suggest the possibility of the attack being orchestrated by the widow of a drug lord, with whom Goyburo purportedly had a relationship.
