Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing rallies in Delhi’s Harinagar, Madipur, and Rohini constituencies in support of BJP candidates, sharply criticized the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for their alleged disrespect towards Hindu deities and their misgovernance. In his speeches, Dr. Yadav emphasized that both parties have been dismissive of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, undermining the cultural identity of India that is known for its devotion to these divine figures. He expressed confidence that the people of Delhi would teach both parties a lesson in the upcoming assembly elections.
"While the entire world recognizes India as the land of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, the Congress and AAP have consistently disrespected our gods," said Dr. Yadav, urging Delhi's electorate to punish these parties for their actions. He further criticized AAP’s leader Arvind Kejriwal, labeling him as "the most deceitful person in Indian politics," and accusing him of clinging to power despite facing corruption charges and imprisonment.
Speaking on the need for change in governance, Dr. Yadav asserted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP prioritizes the nation above everything else, unlike the Congress and AAP, who he said focus on their own families. "While the BJP works for the welfare of all citizens, the other parties are only concerned with their own interests," he added.
Dr. Yadav also turned his attention to Congress's historical track record, accusing the party of neglecting development and fostering division among communities. He highlighted how the Congress had failed to address issues of poverty and had not shown any support for Hindu causes, particularly their refusal to visit Ayodhya after the long-fought victory for Ram Mandir.
The Chief Minister further noted the contrast between BJP’s progress and the AAP’s alleged failures in governance, especially in Delhi. He pointed out that, while the state of the Yamuna River had deteriorated under AAP's rule, BJP-ruled states like Madhya Pradesh had successfully organized events like the Gita Path World Record in Bhopal. Dr. Yadav urged Kejriwal to take responsibility for cleaning the Yamuna, a stark reminder of the environmental issues that plagued his leadership.
Additionally, Dr. Yadav lauded Prime Minister Modi’s vision of transforming India into a global leader, with a focus on uplifting the poor, youth, women, and farmers. He asserted that Delhi’s development had been stalled under AAP’s rule, and the time had come for a new leadership in the capital. “The people of Delhi are fed up with AAP’s failures and have resolved to bring about change. This time, give your blessings to the BJP candidates and allow us to serve you," he concluded.
During the visit, Dr. Yadav also participated in religious activities at an ancient Shiva temple in Madipur. BJP candidates Shyam Sharma (Harinagar), Urmila Kailash Gangwal (Madipur), and Vijayendra Gupta (Rohini) also addressed the gatherings, reinforcing the party’s commitment to development and governance.
This rally marks yet another step in BJP’s push for electoral success in Delhi, as the party looks to capitalize on public dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs under AAP and Congress leadership.
